Purikura puri kura pictures made in photobooths in japan. you get your photo taken. then you are shown your photo on a screen and you can draw on it with a magic pen and then it prints out. It is hard to understand the interface because all of the language is japanese. Sometimes you have a time limit so you're forced to make a drawing quickly. These two things make for a really nice drawing experience. In japan there are arcades filled with puri kura machines. It is the culture of elementary school girls to go in there and get these pics done. they trade them and keep them in sticker books. They usually write their names on the photos and maybe a decal or a few sparkles. |
